Spoken Lies

They're both lying,

And they know,

Yet the truth remains silent,

On an already quiet night.

With their quietness speaking in volumes,

As unspoken words linger in the air,

Is it that difficult to say,

Than to actually lie.

Not like the truth is unaware,

Of the reality of the existence,

Yet truth remains silent,

And lies are spoken.
