I could stare at you,

All day long if I could,

As the morning light falls on your face,

Through the curtains,

And you, breathe rhythmically to the wind chimes,

I could stare at you then,

All day long if I could, you know.

I could stare at you,

As you wrinkle up your brows,

While thinking the right way to phrase your words,

And finally, smiling, as you figure out something magically,

I could stare at you then,

As you talk about the things you love,

And the things you don’t,

And you, living right in that moment with me,
