The City Or Me?

I don’t know who misses you the most,

The city or me?

The city shows me your name in every nook,

I show the poem I’d scapred there earlier.

The city shows me lanes with us having fun,

I show pictures in my wallet clicked there earlier.

The city allures me with the smell of vada pav,

I show the glass of cutting chai in my hand.

The city shows me people who look like you,

I blink and realize it’s not really you.

The city takes me to our spot at the beach,

I realize our sand castle is gone,

Just like you,

The city too,

Doesn’t look back,

It just goes on.

But yet, I don’t know,

Who misses you the most?

The city or me?
