The Mermaid.

Not restraining from the secrets she kept,

Deep under the sea bed,

She swam up to take a breath,

Freeing herself from the fret. She breathed the saltiness of the bay,

Filling her lungs with freshness,

Floating with no one to bother,

Living as no one could harm her. She could feel the sun rising,

Making the water shine like gold,

Now she didn’t feel to cover up,

Or hide the secrets anymore.
