The Perfect Day.
“Do you think there’s such a thing as a perfect day?”
“What?”
“A perfect day. Start to finish. Where nothing terrible or sad happens. Do you think it’s possible?”
This is an excerpt from one of my favorite book, All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. Yes, a perfect day exists and I’ve been a part of it 3 days back. Infact, I’ve been a part of many perfect days but this day amde me remember these beautiful lines. These lines are etched up in my mind.
A perfect day is a day when you do not expect anything extra-ordinary to happen. Everything that happens on a perfect day has a tendency to surprise you and amaze you and bring a smile to your face in every passing second. You feel like you are surrounded by all the positivity in the world and you can even face the dementors! *Expecto Patronum* (too many book references, eh!)
A perfect day is something which doesn’t let you miss the smallest pleasure. A pewrfect day is a day when you have the say in the matter. A perfect day has all the planets alligned into pefection. (book references 😛 ) A perfect day is a perfect day. :`)
