Uttarayan

As you hold my hand a little longer these days,

As your eyes hold my gaze a little longer these days,

As the smile you gave me lasts a little longer these days,

As steps seem to retrace back to for a little longer these days,

As your fingers trace the curves a little longer these days,

As you can’t be any more closer for a little longer these days,

The days have started to grow on me,

The sun has started to glow on me,

Stories have started to flow on me,

For a little longer these days.

For a little longer these days.

Inspired by the end of winter solstice, famously known as Uttarayan in India where the days start getting longer.
