​sondhi si sardi ki subah,

halki lehrati thandi hawa,

puche hai mujhse,

kya hai meri dua.


panchiyo ki kilkariyan sunke,

titli, bhawron ke beech,

puche hai mujhse,

kya hai meri dua. Translation:

On the misty winter morning,

When the cold breeze blows,

Someone asks me,

What’s my wish?


The chirping of the birds,

Between the butterflies and the bees,

Someone asks me,
