You Haven’t Seen?

You look at me, Like you haven’t seen, Someone right out from a magazine, Walking, talking, spilling sass around, Like confetti on a football ground.

I look at you, Like I haven’t seen, Someone right out from the novels I read, Breathing, dreaming, chasing hope, Holding my heart just with a rope.

As we look at each other, Like we haven’t seen, Someone smiling at us with so much dream, With minty breath and a smoky taste, Devouring each other with no haste.
