Carving Out Poetry

I often search for inspiration,

In quotes on Pinterest,

Hoping that some word, some phrase, some paragraph,

Will ignite a spark in me,

Light up, that part of my brain,

That generates ideas,

And converts them into poetries,

For particularly no one to read these days.

It's easy on some days,

And on others I carve out something, somehow,

Like today,

Without knowing how I'm doing it,

But I am.

For one more day.
