Less Fights

There's half a quote on my mind since morning,

"pick less fights to fight, no that's too much, keep some down"

And when everything came crashing down,

After all the efforts of the day,

Someone offered to hear the pain,

To understand what's hurting me so bad,

And despite previous experiences,

I let myself say a few things,

And I was told to not fight so many fights,

Without mentioning anything about the half quote on my mind,

And I don't know what made me more emotional,

My own troubles,

Or being understood by someone so aptly.
