Not Any Other Stranger

It's after 11 in the night,

And we are just walking,

On the empty roads,

Of a city unknown.

Not that I know you so much,

But, I feel safe with you tonight.

And as we wander aimlessly,

Talking about the visible constellations in the sky,

And some silly stories from some random day in the past,

Laughing a carelessly and a little shyly,

Singing along to the song that some old man was playing on his radio,

And surprising each other,

By slipping our hands,

At the same time,

Reaching out to someone familiar,

In this whole unfamiliar world,

I think of this particular feeling.

This feeling that made me feel safe,

This security of your laughter,

This familiarity of your touch,

And this spark in your eyes,

That said, maybe you're not just any other stranger.
